This policy explains what personal data flashcache.net and the Flash Cache plugin handle, why, and what your rights are. The site is operated by Etruel Developments.
The Flash Cache plugin
Flash Cache, the WordPress page cache plugin, runs entirely on your own website. It does not send data to us or to anyone else on its own. It connects to a service only when you press a button that says so.
The one button that does it is “I’m interested in LiteSpeed Enterprise” (Flash Cache > About > Servers). Pressing it sends this information to flashcache.net:
- your choice and whether your site runs LiteSpeed Enterprise;
- the Flash Cache and PHP versions and the site language;
- a random anonymous ID that is not derived from your site address.
If you also tick the box to be emailed when the feature is ready, it sends the email address you type and the note, if you write one. We keep the email only with that consent, and use it only to tell you about that feature. The data is stored in our database and used to measure interest. To have your entry deleted, write to us and tell us the email you used, or the anonymous ID shown in your plugin screen. Nothing is sent until you press the button.
This website
When you visit flashcache.net, our server records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested, in order to run and protect the site. A security plugin (WP Cerber) keeps records of access attempts, with IP addresses, to block abuse. A counter shows how many times each page is read, without identifying visitors.
If you leave a comment, WordPress stores your name, email address, website (if you give one), your IP address and your message. If you tick the box, a cookie keeps your name and email for your next comment. If you write to us through a contact form, we receive the data you type, and use it only to answer you.
The PRO page embeds a video from YouTube. Google may set cookies and process your data when you play it, under its own privacy policy. Fonts are served from this site.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell your data. It is shared only with the service providers that host and secure the site, and when the law requires it. We keep data for as long as needed for the purposes above: comments and form messages until you ask us to remove them, security records for a limited time.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to stop using it. Contact us through the support page and we will answer as soon as we can.
Changes
We may update this policy; the current version is always on this page.
