PHP only where it is needed
Only the pages that hold a live block or widget are served through PHP. Every other page stays static HTML.
Shared widget cache
Each widget is built once for the whole site while pages are cached, and saving a widget updates it inside the cached pages instead of deleting them.
Minify CSS and JavaScript
The combined style and script files lose spaces and comments during the caching process, so they weigh less.
Google Fonts on your server
The fonts are downloaded once and served from your own site, so pages make fewer requests to other sites.
Leave plugins’ scripts in place
